- Unlike their cousins, They live by themselves or in pairs. They wander the tundras in search for food. They're opportunistic hunters and scavengers. Feeding on small mammals, birds, otteal pups, and carrion. They often follow polar devil bears so they can scavenge off whatever is available.
- During the spring, their fur is a brownish gray. During the winter, their fur becomes white. Their dense fur allows them to endure the harsh tundra conditions.
